Here is what I had for dinner tonight, post-gym and -foodshopping: 2 Whole Foods samosas w/ yogurt some yogurt and Kashi peanut butter pretzels and a glass of soy milk Not a ton of vegetables, but otherwise a satisfying, if very full-making, three-course meal. I am not fit for other human beings!

It feels so anti-Star Trek.
Is it very old ladyish of me to like a physical, clicky keyboard?

“The aid is never fast enough for the armchair aid workers sipping their lattes.”
– STEVE MATTHEWS, spokesman in Haiti for World Vision, a charitable organization providing medical supplies to hospitals and other healthcare providers in earthquake-ravaged parts of the country. Matthews was responding to critics who say that aid has not gone to Haiti quick enough. While I trust...

For everyone in Astoria freaked out about the MTA...
ohhleary: As part of the changes, the N is going Local in Manhattan and the Q is going to run to Astoria. So, during most hours, Astoria, your service will actually run more often - one of the strange paradoxes of MTA service cuts. As for those of you who head uptown from the 2nd Avenue stop on the F/V - well, you’re screwed. The V is being rerouted and will stop at Broadway/Lafayette and Essex...
